Corrie Ndaba has completed a transfer from Kilmarnock FC to Italian Serie A side US Lecce, signing a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee[1][2][3]. The move was officially announced on July 28, 2025, with Ndaba departing after more than 70 appearances for Kilmarnock, where his athleticism, leadership, and composed defensive performances quickly made him a key player and a fan favorite[1].

The 25-year-old Irish defender initially joined Kilmarnock on loan from Ipswich Town in 2023, before making the move permanent in July 2024[2]. He accumulated a total of 76 appearances during his time at Rugby Park. In a farewell message on social media, Ndaba expressed heartfelt thanks to the Kilmarnock fans, staff, and teammates, stating, “Since the moment I arrived at Rugby Park, I’ve felt nothing but love and support from the fans…Kilmarnock will always have a place in my heart”[2].

Kilmarnock FC also thanked Ndaba for his “outstanding contribution to the club and the way he represented Killie throughout his time in Ayrshire,” wishing him success in Italy[1][2]. Ndaba is the second Irish player to move to Italy’s top tier this month, following Evan Ferguson’s loan to AS Roma[2].

Details from additional coverage confirm the three-year contract, with a further two-year option included in Ndaba’s deal with Lecce[4].
