Gezina sits in the Pretoria Moot, the band of older northern suburbs between the city centre and the Magaliesberg ridge, roughly four kilometres north of the centre of Pretoria on a flat street grid.
Its neighbours are Rietfontein, Villieria, Riviera, Rietondale, Moregloed, Queenswood and Wonderboom South, with Les Marais, Eloffsdal and Mayville to the west. The suburbs run into one another without a visible break, which is the single most useful thing to know before navigating here: street names repeat across them, so an address without its suburb is genuinely ambiguous.

The city’s bus rapid transit service. Runs 06:00 to 20:25 on weekdays, 06:00 to 23:40 on Saturdays and 06:00 to 20:00 on Sundays. Trunk services run every 7 minutes at peak and every 10 off-peak. Enquiries on 012 358 4848.
